Will not drain
Clogged drain hose, food-stuck pump, or failed drain pump motor. We pull, clean, and test.
Dishes coming out dirty
Spray arms clogged, wash motor weak, or water inlet valve failing. Common on Bosch and KitchenAid.
Leaking on the floor
Door gasket, pump seal, or inlet valve — each leaks differently and we identify the source with dye and pressure tests.
Will not start / no power
Door latch, thermal fuse, control board, or wiring fault. We test every link in the chain.
Error code on display
E15, E24, F8E4 — we read the manufacturer fault and pinpoint the failure quickly.
Loud grinding noise
Food caught in chopper or worn wash-motor bearing. Catching it early saves the motor.
Detergent dispenser stuck
Wax motor or solenoid failure. Common on older units — we carry replacement assemblies.
Bad smell
Food trapped in filter, sump, or drain hose. We deep-clean and recommend ongoing maintenance.

FAQ
How much does dishwasher repair cost in Salem?
Most repairs run $140 to $400. Drain pumps, inlet valves and door latches are at the low end; wash motors and control boards at the top. The diagnostic comes off the bill when you approve the repair.
Dishes come out dirty. Is the machine dying?
Usually not. In Keizer, Woodburn and on well water, scale in the spray arms and on the heating element is the leading cause and it is cleanable. Inside Salem, where the water is soft, we look at the wash motor, the arms, and how the machine is being loaded and dosed.
It will not drain. What is wrong?
Food packed into the chopper area or a clogged drain hose leads the list, then a failed drain pump, then a high-loop or air-gap problem at the sink - the last one is common after a kitchen remodel and is not a dishwasher fault at all.
Are Bosch and Miele worth repairing?
Generally yes. Both are built for fifteen to twenty years of service, so a $400 repair on a ten-year-old machine still beats replacing it with a mid-range unit. We are factory-trained on both and can read the full fault log.
Can you replace a dishwasher, not just repair it?
We can quote a replacement install. Note that swapping a built-in dishwasher in Oregon involves both plumbing and electrical work, so we scope each job to what our licensing covers and tell you plainly if any part of it needs a separate trade.
